If your pets are overweight, it can cause a number of problems, and affect its life in lots of ways. Animals which are overweight generally don't enjoy being exercised, and in maturer animals this can lead to arthritis, and other problems.
We offer you support by working with your vet, and putting your animal on a strict diet, increasing the exercise, and hopefully having a happier, healthier pet.
All diets should be done slowly, and your vet will advise you on the correct feed and exercise your pet requires to ensure s/he is receiving enough nutrients and a balanced diet. The vet will also give you a target weight for you to aim for.
Most veterinary surgeries have Weight Clinics, and with our support the weight should gradually come off.
